Why My Job Resume Isn't Getting Me Anywhere
12:26:00I've been unemployed for the past 2 weeks, and the feeling is absolutely terrible. I hate waking up in the morning and feeling purposeless, so much so that there is a sense of dread to face having to do nothing again. Yes, it's a pretty terrible time for me right now.
Which is why I began job-hunting approximately 2 weeks ago. So far, I've sent my resume out to almost every single company in the world (it feels like it okay?) and no one has even replied me, or even acknowledged that this poor (literally and figuratively) graduate is currently seeking a job. It's a feeling that I can only describe as worse than rejection, because at least in rejections, they acknowledge your existence.
I cannot think of any reason why no company would want to hire me. Here, I'll put my actual resume in full below, and YOU, dear readers of this blog, will see whether or not you'll want to hire me.
So tell me. Why doesn't anyone approach me for a job? Is my resume too professionally written? Did I miss out anything? Please, someone tell me in the comments below.
Or maybe companies will see this blog post with my resume attached and finally, finally decide to give me a call up, or even a simple interview email. Please. My wallet needs you.
Cheerios!
